Responsibilities

  • Supervises and monitors performance of union and non-union staff, addressing sickness, discipline, and work quality.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and Corporate regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Executes same-day dispatching of emergency and non-emergency work, planned and unplanned, to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Directs dispatchers to ensure proper staffing, minimize overtime, and meet leak response and customer appointment metrics.
  • Reviews construction workload and assigns to contractors in an efficient, timely manner.
  • Supervises data entry of completed construction work orders and maintains service cards and documents.
  • Processes all State permits and maintains records for them.
  • Participates in safety and process improvement programs and is responsible for results.
  • Provides coverage in the field 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Job Title: Supervisor - Dispatch & ECC

Location: Orange, CT; East Hartford, CT

Work type: Office (on-site)

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $116,640 to $145,800.

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily supervision and organization of assigned operations personnel in order to effectively and efficiently accomplish job tasks in line with departmental and company requirements. Supervises day-to-day gas operations field activities to drive greater efficiencies and performance of all dispatch and field employees.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration is preferred or a high school diploma and 13 years of gas operations experience.
  • Must be technically proficient as a gas operations dispatcher.
  • Must have a solid working knowledge of gas field operations policies, procedures, protocols and the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of the various systems that are in use within the Dispatch office. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
