Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to oversee the logistics of fleet operations, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs. You will assess events, assign the nearest service providers, and keep customers informed of ETA while coordinating with on-duty supervisors.

The role requires strong dispatching and multitasking abilities, with a background in related fields and a focus on customer service. Training schedules and 24/7 coverage are standard in this environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years of dispatching for breakdowns and/or tire maintenance, or 5 years in related field; related certifications or degree may count in place of experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Verify proper authorization is obtained to dispatch events.
• Assign the nearest and appropriate service provider for repairs.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Notify supervisor of delays or issues with service providers.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve problems as they arise.
