Job summary

iParametrics, LLC is seeking a dedicated Disaster Case Manager to support disaster survivors through unmet needs assessment, individualized recovery planning, and coordination of referrals to community resources. You will assess needs, develop recovery plans, and advocate for timely assistance while balancing empathy with accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work or a related field.
• Case management experience; one to two years preferred.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish trust with clients under stress.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• High level of technology proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to work independently and in remote/mobile outreach environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to disaster survivors and travel to client locations as needed to assess disaster-related unmet needs.
• Work with individuals and families to establish, advance, and complete individualized disaster recovery plans.
• Apply sound judgment to evaluate client circumstances, identify barriers to recovery, and determine next steps.
• Help survivors navigate complex recovery processes involving multiple agencies, programs, eligibility requirements, and sources of assistance.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, client-centered support while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Follow up with survivors to facilitate progress toward recovery goals and long-term stability.
• Advocate on behalf of clients with service providers, benefit programs, community organizations, and government agencies.
• Present case information clearly and confidentially when seeking resources, services, funding, or other assistance.
• Identify gaps or barriers to assistance and develop practical solutions with partners.
• Research local resources that may assist clients in achieving recovery goals.
• Coordinate referrals and maintain communication with organizations involved.
