Prudential Financial is seeking a Disability Claims Specialist to serve as the Long Term Disability technical expert on the Core Team within Group Insurance Disability Organization. You will guide claim professionals, provide coaching, and support complex or high-risk claims while ensuring policy provisions and benefit eligibility are applied consistently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Long-Term Disability claim management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of LTD policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations.
• Ability to analyze complex or high-risk claims and recommend strategies.
• Experience coaching claim professionals and providing actionable feedback.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Long Term Disability technical expert to the Team Lead and staff.
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation, medical/vocational considerations, and benefit eligibility.
• Coach and develop claim professionals to improve decision quality and execution.
• Analyze claim activity to identify trends and coaching opportunities.
• Monitor claim block health with inventory and performance indicators.
• Support technical training and knowledge sharing for the team.
