Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Disability Claims Specialist to join the Long-Term Disability Core Team. In a fully virtual role, you will act as a technical expert, guiding claim professionals on complex matters and improving claim outcomes.

You will coach, analyze trends, and help prioritize actions to maintain claim block health, while owning high-quality decision support within policy provisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years of long-term disability claim management experience with complex claim evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of L/T disability policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for coaching and training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert to Team Lead and claim professionals on complex claim matters.
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation, medical/vocational considerations, and next steps.
• Coach professionals through complex scenarios and deliver actionable feedback.
• Analyze trends and inventory to identify risks and coaching opportunities.
• Develop technical resources and training materials for the team.
