Cengage Group is seeking a Director of Web Experience & Performance to lead our global web ecosystem. This role drives strategy, performance, and large-scale modernization across B2B/B2C markets, partnering with marketing, product, technology, and analytics teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of leadership in web/ digital optimization, strong executive communication, and a proven track record delivering measurable business impact through modern web experiences.

Qualifications

10+ years leading web, digital experience, optimization, or digital marketing functions in complex enterprise environments.
Proven success building a web conversion optimization strategy with measurable outcomes.
Experience leading large-scale web transformation, migration, or consolidation initiatives in enterprise settings.
Deep expertise in CMS, asset management, web analytics, customer journey optimization, SEO, experimentation, personalization, and digital measurement.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the enterprise web strategy and platform roadmap aligned to business objectives.
Own web performance metrics including engagement, conversions, and journeys to drive growth.
Lead an experimentation program across web experiences and personalization at scale.
Partner with SEO/GEO, SEM and content teams to maximize discoverability and content effectiveness.
Deliver large-scale digital transformation initiatives with governance and risk management.
