Job summary

Archimedes is seeking a Director of Proposals to lead and grow a team focused on developing strategic, customer-focused proposal content and related sales documents. You will oversee both written components and financial outcomes of proposals, applying best practices to ensure timely, accurate responses and optimal resource use in response to RFPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in business proposal development.
• 2+ years of experience in the health plan, PBM, or healthcare industry.
• 2+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams and deliver tangible results in a professional services environment.
• Large project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of proposal development and management professionals accountable for preparing strategic customer-focused proposal content and other sales-related documents.
• Oversee the written components of proposals and the financial outcomes, as well as methodologies used to develop proposal savings estimates and guarantees.
• Analyze RFP opportunities to optimize resource allocation and ensure timely, accurate, clear, and concise responses.
• Provide consultative support to Sales on targeted and opportunity-specific strategies to enhance competitive advantage.
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff to build a strong pipeline of future leaders and ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
