Job summary

Archimedes is seeking a Director, Proposals to lead a team responsible for strategic proposal content and sales-related documents across client audiences. The role focuses on accurate, timely, and concise responses, optimizing resources and ensuring alignment with clinical and business strategies.

The position requires 5+ years in proposal development, 2+ years in healthcare, and strong leadership with extensive project management experience, along with mentoring and performance guarantees

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in business proposal development.
• 2 years of experience in the health plan, PBM, or healthcare industry.
• 2+ years of leadership experience with proven ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Large project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze opportunities to optimize resource use in proposal development.
• Oversee proposal content library and templates for accuracy.
• Provide consultative support to Sales for targeted strategies.
• Lead client acquisition and retention efforts related to RFPs and related documents.
• Support staff on performance guarantees and best practices.
• Oversee financial savings model outcomes for RFPs.
• Identify performance guarantee risks and trends.
• Collaborate with SMEs across the enterprise.
• Coordinate projects and reporting activities.
• Stay aligned with sales strategies and market trends.
• Mentor and develop team members and future leaders.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement in proposal delivery.
• Support compliance, people and culture, and learning programs.
