Job summary

Archimedes is seeking a Director of Proposals to lead and grow a team responsible for strategic proposal content and sales-related documents. You will oversee both written responses and the financial outcomes of proposals, ensuring accurate, timely, and compelling submissions across client audiences.

The role emphasizes staffing, coaching, and maintaining high-performance teams while aligning with company goals and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in business proposal development.
• 2+ years in the health plan, PBM, or healthcare industry.
• 2+ years of leadership experience delivering tangible results in professional services.
• Large project management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze opportunities and allocate resources for proposal development.
• Oversee proposal content library and templates for accuracy.
• Provide consultative support to Sales on targeted strategies for RFPs.
• Lead client acquisition and retention efforts for RFPs and related documents.
• Guide staff on performance guarantees and best practices.
• Oversee savings model outcomes and guarantees alignment with strategies.
• Identify risks and trends in performance guarantees.
• Coordinate with SMEs across the enterprise.
• Support planning, scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of sales strategies and market trends to meet client needs.
• Mentor and develop team members to build leadership talent.
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement across initiatives.
• Participate in compliance, people & culture, and learning programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
