Job summary

Affirm is reinventing credit to deliver honest, flexible payment options. As Director, Platform Accounts Management, you will lead a strategic commercial organization responsible for growing platform partnerships and driving scalable business impact.

You’ll shape strategy, build high‑performing teams, and partner cross‑functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Finance, and Operations to deliver merchant value at scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, or related leadership roles.
• Experience influencing organizational strategy and operating models in complex, high-growth environments.
• Proven ability to align cross-functional teams and navigate competing priorities with clarity and empathy.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive measurable outcomes across large enterprise partnerships.
• Strong business judgment and analytical thinking; ability to solve complex, undefined problems with long-term impact.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, including engagement with executives and negotiation.
• Experience in fintech, platforms, payments, SaaS, or tech-driven industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead with strategy, develop exceptional teams, and shape how Affirm grows and strengthens platform partnerships.
• Set the vision and strategy for Account Management across a portfolio of platform partners.
• Build a high-performing organization with scalable execution across the portfolio.
• Drive portfolio performance across retention, growth, product adoption, operational health, and long-term value.
• Navigate complex business challenges balancing partner needs, operational realities, and strategic priorities.
• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and serve as a senior strategic partner on complex decisions.
• Influence broader commercial strategy through insights from platform partnerships and market dynamics.
• Establish scalable operating models, rhythms, and performance frameworks for improved effectiveness.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Finance, and Operations to deliver outcomes.
