Job summary

Affirm is reinventing credit with a remote-first model and strong equity offering. We’re seeking a Director, Platform Accounts Management to steer a strategic commercial organization focused on growing platform partnerships and delivering scalable business impact.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape partner strategy, and drive execution across a portfolio of major platforms while collaborating with Product, Sales, Marketing and Finance to maximize merchant value.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, customer success, business development, consulting, or related leadership roles.
• Ability to influence organizational strategy and cross-functional decision-making in complex, high-growth environments.
• Proven ability to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and build exceptional teams to grow platform partnerships.
• Set vision for Account Management across a diverse partner portfolio.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing organization with scalable execution.
• Drive portfolio performance across retention, growth, product adoption, and operational health.
• Balance partner needs with affirm’s long-term priorities in ambiguous scenarios.
• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders at strategic partners.
• Influence broader commercial strategy through insights from platform partnerships and market trends.
• Establish scalable operating models and rhythms to improve effectiveness and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Finance and Operations to drive merchant outcomes.
