CVS Health, in HR Technology, seeks a dynamic Engineering Leader to drive platform strategy, multi-cloud operations, and DevOps excellence. You will lead a high-performing organization of engineers and DevOps professionals, focusing on reliability, security, and cost optimization across the software lifecycle.

The Lead Director will prioritize effectively, communicate clearly, and deliver accelerated outcomes in a fast-paced environment, guiding cross-functional teams through complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years leading large software engineering programs with KPI reporting to senior leaders.
• Eight+ years leading teams in a matrix organization.
• Four+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO teams to influence product development.
• Two+ years in leadership coordinating across software cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Platform Strategy & Delivery: Define and drive the platform strategy with Architecture and AppDev teams.
• Platform Engineering & Developer Experience: Build scalable internal platforms and self-service tools.
• DevOps & Automation Leadership: Scale CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices.
• Solution Engineering & Integration: Design scalable, cost-effective enterprise solutions.
• Team & Budget Management: Mentor and lead cross-functional teams; manage cloud spend and vendor relations.
• Metrics & Governance: Track DORA metrics, deployment frequency, change failure rate, MTTR.
• Emerging Tech Integration: Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and cloud-native services.
