Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a dynamic Engineering Leader to drive platform strategy, multi-cloud infrastructure, and internal tools across HR Technology. You will lead Architecture, Product owners and AppDev teams to deliver scalable, cost-efficient platforms and automation.

A focus on DevOps, security, and developer experience will shape delivery across multiple portfolios. The Lead Director will mentor high-performing teams, manage cloud budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders to accelerate

Qualifications

10+ years leading large software engineering programs with KPI reporting to Senior Leaders.
8+ years leading teams in a matrix organization.
4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO to influence development.
4+ years leading discovery sessions, workshops and enablement activities.
2+ years in a leadership role coordinating cross-functional teams.
2+ years influencing stakeholders and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

Define and drive Platform strategy and delivery with Architecture, TPOs and AppDev teams.
Build and scale internal platforms and self-service tools to lower developer cognitive load.
Scale CI/CD pipelines, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps to embed security and observability.
Partner with product, architecture and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
Mentor and lead cross-functional teams of Engineers, DevOps, and SRE; manage cloud spend budgets.
