Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director, Industry Relations & Contracting to lead a team of Rebate Contractors and drive contract strategy with pharmaceutical manufacturers. The role focuses on rebates, discounts, and formulary inclusion to optimize value for Navitus’ clients.

The position requires pharmacist education, PBM/health plan experience, and strong negotiation and leadership skills, with travel and licensure requirements as noted.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PBM/Healthcare plan experience preferred; rebate contracting and formulary management experience desired.
• 1 year experience in contract negotiation (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D) or equivalent.
• Pharmacist licensure (unrestricted) in Wisconsin or ability to obtain.
• Up to 20% travel time required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Participate in compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with Pharma, customers, Navitus and partners.
• Ensure appropriate resources are in place to meet Navitus’ current and future needs.
• Develop and implement strategies for a competitive Pharma contract structure, including agreements, analytics, and audit programs.
• Support P&T processes with financial modeling and presentation of rebates.
• Lead negotiations to expand rebates and discounts for low net cost PBM for Navitus’ clients.
• Lead, train and develop the team of Navitus Contractors.
• Other duties as assigned.
