Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director, Industry Relations & Contracting to lead the Rebate Contractors team and partner with pharmaceutical manufacturers to structure rebates and discounts for formulary inclusion.

This position emphasizes cost modeling, rebate forecasting, and budget impact analysis, while guiding negotiations to maximize high-net rebates and deliver the lowest net cost PBM for Navitus’ clients; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D is preferred. MBA or applicable degree or experience is desired
• At least 5 years PBM/Healthcare plan experience with rebate contracting and formulary management experience
• At least 1 year experience in contract negotiation (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D) or equivalent
• Pharmacist should have or could obtain an unrestricted licensure in Wisconsin
• Up to 20% travel time required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively with others

Responsibilities

• Proactively build and maintain relationships with Pharma, customers, Navitus, and partners
• Ensure appropriate Pharma sources and internal resources are in place
• Develop strategies for establishing a competitive Pharma contract structure with audits
• Work with operations to ensure rebates and discounts are understood; support P&T with modeling
• Lead Pharma negotiations to expand high net rebates and low net cost PBM for clients
• Lead, train and develop the Navitus Contractors team
• Other duties as assigned
