Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director of Industry Relations & Contracting to lead a team of Rebate Contractors, negotiating pharma rebates and driving formulary inclusion strategies. The role interfaces with Drug Information, P&T, and client teams to support economic value.

Qualified candidates will have pharmacy credentials, 5+ years PBM experience with rebate contracting, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D is preferred. MBA or applicable degree or experience is desired.
• At least 5 years PBM/Healthcare plan experience; rebate contracting and formulary management preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in contract negotiation (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with pharma manufacturers, customers, Navitus, and partners.
• Ensure resources are in place to meet Navitus’ current and future needs.
• Develop and implement strategies for a competitive pharma contract structure with agreements, analytics, and audits.
• Collaborate with Navitus teams to ensure rebates/discounts are understood and resolve issues; support P&T processes with modeling/presentations.
• Lead pharma negotiations to expand high-net rebates and discounts for lowest net cost PBM for clients.
• Lead, train, and develop the Navitus Contractors team.
• Other duties as assigned.
