Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions seeks a Director, Industry Relations & Contracting to lead the Rebate Contractors team and drive rebate strategies for formulary inclusion. You will negotiate contracts, forecast rebates, and provide budget impact analysis to support client formularies.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, you will build pharmaceutical partnerships, mentor staff, and guide the team through evolving contract structures to maximize value for Navitus’ clients.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with PBM/healthcare plan experience preferred.
• At least 5 years PBM/healthcare plan experience with rebate contracting and formulary management.
• At least 1 year experience in contract negotiation with Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare Part D rebate contracting.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with Pharma, customers, Navitus and partners.
• Ensures resources are in place to meet Navitus’ current and future needs.
• Develops and implements strategies for a competitive Pharma contract structure; ensures agreements, analytics and audits are in place.
• Collaborates with Navitus operations to ensure rebate terms are understood and supports P&T processes with financial modeling.
• Leads Pharma negotiations and expands rebates/discounts for the lowest net cost PBM for Navitus’ clients.
• Leads, trains and develops the team of Navitus Contractors.
