Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a senior leader to direct all administrative and fiscal components of patient access across inpatient, outpatient, emergency and ancillary points of service.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with hospital departments to implement policies, processes and programs that improve revenue cycle performance while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high customer service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years’ experience in healthcare access management.
• Experience directing administrative and fiscal functions in patient access areas.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and privacy/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directs administrative and fiscal components for patient access across inpatient, outpatient, ED and ancillary services.
• Manages HR and expenses, supervises staff, and maintains productivity and budget objectives.
• Collaborates with hospital departments and leadership to improve policies, processes and programs.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and privacy policies within patient registration and education.
• Maintains high levels of customer service and supports financial clearance policies.
