Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced administrator to direct patient access operations across inpatient, outpatient, emergency and ancillary services. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with hospital departments to ensure smooth financial clearance and accurate patient eligibility verification.

You will drive revenue cycle performance, maintain compliance with HIPAA and relevant policies, and sustain high levels of customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• 5 years’ experience in healthcare access management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR and expenses to meet productivity standards and budget objectives.
• Coordinate with hospital departments and leadership for policy, process, and program development and coordination.
• Oversee financial clearance policies and patient eligibility verification including coordination with financial counselors and physician staff.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Collaborate with system leadership to achieve revenue cycle goals.
• Develop and manage department budgets.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
