Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in a multi-physician medical practice or facility billing/business office related to revenue cycle management.
• 3-5 years' experience in a multi-physician medical practice or facility billing/business office related to revenue cycle management (including staff supervision).
• Experience operating PC and using software applications; preferred Call Center experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff, evaluates work and results, monitors time and enforces corrective actions.
• Uses problem solving to diagnose and solve root process, payer and system issues impacting revenue cycle goals.
• Organizes, delegates, monitors and measures special projects to ensure timely, accurate completion.
• Leads initiatives, coordinates task teams to deliver results, and provides updates to management.
• Performs scheduling and preregistration duties including patient demographics, insurance verification and benefits coordination.
• Delivers a positive patient experience and resolves patient issues in a concise, informative manner.
