Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a senior operations leader to provide comprehensive operational and financial oversight for a network of physician practices. You will identify opportunities to improve patient access, care alignment, patient satisfaction, and revenue while planning and monitoring budgets and revenue-cycle metrics.

You will supervise staff, conduct hiring and evaluations, ensure productivity, and support onboarding for new practices during acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience as determined by the company.
• Experience in physician practice operations.
• Two years of management experience overseeing multiple physician practices, offices, or clinics.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site assessment of practice operations to identify opportunities for improvement in operational and process areas such as patient access, care alignment, patient satisfaction, and revenue maximization.
• Develops, plans, and budgets for each practice; manages and monitors key financial and revenue cycle metrics, including staff hours, resource allocation, expense budget, patient volumes, and revenue cycle process.
• Supervises staff, conducts interviews, hires, trains, and performs performance evaluations; resolves problems and administers disciplinary actions.
• Oversees day-to-day operations in the absence of the manager.
• Manages physician productivity, schedules, and 72-hour rule compliance; ensures same-day urgent patient access.
• Manages onboarding and exit processes for practice acquisitions, including records, site setup, and staff assignments.
• Trains managers on policies and procedures; provides ongoing guidance to leadership teams.
• Collaborates with physicians, leadership, and health professionals to achieve organizational goals.
