The role emphasizes strategic planning, industry engagement, and sustaining HDR's employee-owned culture across multiple locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration in Architecture/Engineering for relevant services.
• Experience leading diverse teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Committed to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead technical risk management and advisory services on projects.
• Drive quality assurance and control processes with Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of tools, standards, and techniques.
• Assign qualified staff to projects and manage workload allocation.
• Develop strategic plan for the business class with market sector directors.
• Lead research engagement to advance WTEM capabilities and standards.
• Foster university partnerships for workforce development and research.
