Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead technical capabilities and coordinate between market sectors, operations, and other business groups. The role focuses on risk management, strategic planning, and strong client engagement to elevate HDR’s wastewater and effluent management practice.

The position involves directing multi-disciplinary teams, mentoring technical staff, and expanding HDR’s presence in professional organizations and industry collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Professional/Architecture or Engineering registration is required for core technical leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build close working relationships and coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, business groups and operations.
• Lead technical risk management and claims prevention activities.
• Drive quality assurance and control processes and monitor emerging technologies.
• Oversee staffing and project assignments across the business class.
• Mentor technical leaders and support client development.
