Job summary

Axon is seeking a dynamic leader to head a field team of Technical Account Managers and Mission Engineers across the Southeast US, travel up to 40%, reporting to Senior Director, Customer Deployment & Technical Account Management.

You will coach a team, drive deployment health, adoption, and ensure CJIS compliance while collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver real-world outcomes for public safety agencies.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years in customer-facing technical delivery with 3+ years leading individual contributors.
• A coaching and mentoring record with proven people development.
• Technical range across hardware, software, cloud, networking, and integrations.
• Ability to communicate with executive leaders and simplify complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for deployment health, adoption, technical stabilization, time-to-value, escalation trends, and solutions that hold up in day-to-day agency operations.
• Show up as a steady senior partner for command staff, agency IT, and Axon leaders when leadership is required at the table.
• Work alongside Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, PSO, and Customer Success to translate customer reality into product and process improvements.
• Share field insights with Product and Engineering on blockers, adoption drivers, and platform enhancement opportunities.
