Job summary

Axon is seeking a Manager of Software Technical Account Management to lead a field team of Technical Account Managers and Mission Engineers, driving deployment health and adoption across agencies. You will coach, mentor, and develop the team, ensuring high-value outcomes and strong executive-level communication.

You will collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to reflect customer realities, guide strategic decisions, and scale the TAM program while maintaining CJIS compliance

Qualifications

• 7+ years in customer-facing technical delivery with 3+ years leading individual contributors.
• Proven coaching and mentoring track record with growth outcomes.
• Technical range across hardware, software, cloud, networking, and integrations.
• Experience solving problems with technology you built, automated, or integrated.
• Comfort communicating with command staff and senior stakeholders at executive levels.
• Experience owning outcomes across a portfolio with multi-account leadership.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and make security-minded decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy health, adoption, stabilization, time-to-value, escalation trends, and operational reliability for deployments.
• Serve as a steady senior partner for command staff, agency IT, and Axon leaders during incidents.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, PSO, and Customer Success to reflect customer realities.
• Share field insights with Product and Engineering to improve adoption and platform capabilities.
• Coach and mentor TAMs and Mission Engineers, building development plans and stretch opportunities.
