Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Property Manager in day-to-day association operations. This role oversees deliveries, moves, and safety during day and evening shifts, ensures contractors depart by 5 p.m., retrieves packages, and supports residents with issues not requiring the Property Manager’s involvement.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressive operations management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety) and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shared facilities and operational matters across building systems and services.
• Maintain records and provide monthly summaries to the Board and management.
• Oversee capital projects, vendor coordination, and contract administration.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project scopes and deadlines.
• Provide updates to the Board and assist in operations and safety initiatives.
