Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Property Manager in daily association operations. The role covers day and evening shifts, overseeing deliveries, moves, and contractor activities, ensuring safety, and reporting incidents.

Responsibilities include supervising moves, assisting residents, and coordinating with Receiving and Front Desk teams while adhering to regulations and after-hours relief requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong managerial background in property/building operations.
• Experience overseeing staff, service contracts, and resident relations.
• Solid customer service principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager with day-to-day operations of the Association.
• Monitor deliveries, moves, and construction; notify manager of issues.
• Ensure contractors depart by 5 p.m. and inspect for safety.
• Retrieve packages, assist residents, and relieve front desk as needed.
• Conduct shift handoffs, report incidents, and follow safety procedures.
