Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an Operational Program Director to oversee programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Washington/Ramsey County, MN area. The role blends leadership with hands-on service and demands flexible scheduling to support multiple programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, ensuring staff training and compliance, and on-call readiness for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field is preferred.
• Three years’ experience supervising staff in the human service field per requirements from 245D Designated Manager qualifications.
• Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle background check.
• Must be able to lift and transfer and transport.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall programs serving individuals with ID, DD, mental health needs, and autism spectrum conditions.
• Balance direct care with supervisory duties to ensure program quality and compliance.
• Schedule and monitor direct service shifts; ensure staff are trained and oriented to meet program needs.
