Job summary

Dungarvin in Minnesota seeks an Operational Program Director to lead and coordinate programs for individuals with ID, DD, and mental health needs, blending direct care with supervision of staff. The role requires driving, scheduling, and ensuring staff are adequately oriented.

The OPD must be able to manage on-call duties, supervise shifts, and maintain program quality under 245D requirements while supporting a mission-driven, person-centered care culture at Dungarvin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field; Designated Manager status per 245D licensing.
• Three years’ experience supervising staff in the human service field.
• Valid United States Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Must lift and transfer persons; able to transport in the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate programs serving individuals with ID, DD, mental health needs.
• Balance direct care with supervisory responsibilities for staff.
• Ensure shifts are filled by qualified staff and oriented.
• Be on-call to respond to emergencies; manage scheduling adjustments.
