Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Program Director to oversee residential and/or day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will lead a team, ensure proper orientation and ongoing training, and coordinate program operations with site leadership.

The role blends direct care with supervisory duties, requiring strong decision-making, time management, and communication. A bachelor’s degree in human services is required and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field is required.
• At least 1 year full time experience working with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of management experience and working with developmental disabilities.
• Experience writing/creating/signing-off for Behavior Support Plans.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and program coordination including orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitor all aspects of the program including goals and plans and ensure effective implementation.
• Coordinate operations across medical, financial and maintenance aspects through site leadership.
