Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Government Sales Director - Software to lead and expand our strategic relationship with the FAA and related partners. This role focuses on growth, opportunity development, and multi-element offerings including software platforms, digital solutions, consulting, and development-based services.

The ideal candidate has government sales leadership, complex deal execution, and cross-functional collaboration across commercial, product, engineering, and proposal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent.
• 5+ years in sales or account management is required.
• Experience with U.S. government customers (FAA or related) is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage long, complex deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead FAA account growth strategy including pipeline development, new opportunities, and revenue expansion.
• Shape and close opportunities across software, digital solutions, consulting, and development offerings.
• Build executive relationships across procurement, contracts, program leadership, and technical teams.
• Develop capture, pursuit, and win strategies aligned to customer priorities and timelines.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, consulting, and solution teams on tailored value propositions.
• Lead or coordinate proposals, pricing, SOOs, technical responses, and commercial packages.
