GE Aerospace is seeking a Government Sales Director - Software to lead a strategic FAA relationship and expand our footprint across comprehensive aviation software solutions, including software platforms, digital products, and development-based offerings.

The role requires a proven government-sales track record, senior commercial leadership, and the ability to navigate long-cycle, multi-element deals with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, consulting, and proposals.

Competenze

Requires Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in sales or account management.
Experience managing strategic customer relationships is preferred.
Experience selling software, SaaS, or digital solutions to government customers is a plus.

Develop FAA account growth strategy, focus on pipeline and capture.
Identify and close opportunities across software, services, and digital offerings.
Build executive relationships across procurement, contracts, and program leadership.
Lead capture strategies, pursuit plans, and win strategies aligned to customer priorities.
Drive account planning, funding paths, and strategic growth opportunities.
Lead engagements requiring consultative selling and tailored solutions.
Collaborate with product, engineering, consulting and proposals teams.
Direct development of complex proposals, pricing and SOWs.
Lead commercial negotiations through award to delivery transition.
Act as the senior commercial voice for the FAA account.
