Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a Chief Engineer to lead all hotel engineering operations in Dallas, directing maintenance, energy management, asset protection, and preventive programs. You will manage staff, budgeting, and capital expenditures while ensuring compliance with brand standards and regulations to deliver excellent guest service.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in building management/engineering, strong leadership, and familiarity with hospitality industry

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Minimum of three years of managerial skills with leadership responsibilities.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering and align with brand standards and regulations.
• Lead the Engineering staff, budgeting, asset protection, and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect equipment, facilities and inventories for condition and performance.
• Direct emergency programs, staff training, drills, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with hotel leadership to ensure quality service and guest safety.
• Develop and manage capital expenditures and maintenance plans.
