Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team and oversee electrical design for the Energy-from-Waste process across more than 30 facilities in North America.

This role requires broad expertise in high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems, coordination with site teams, and mentoring SMEs while advancing capital projects, feasibility studies, and safety programs. Expect ~30% travel.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in electrical engineering, including leadership experience.
• Experience with MV and HV systems (switchgear, transformers, relaying).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams across lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Design Engineering for the Energy-from-Waste process across 30+ facilities.
• Manage and prioritize work across the electrical team and SMEs.
• Oversee capital projects and technical programs; develop and maintain design standards.
