Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team across North America, accountable for all electrical design activities supporting the Energy-from-Waste process in 30+ facilities.

Responsibilities include HV/MV/LV systems design, capital project leadership, mentoring SMEs, and collaborating with Plant Support, Sourcing, PMO, and Operations to balance technical and economic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 15-20 years in electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience with MV/HV systems and design lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Discipline/Design Engineering: manage work across the Electrical Engineering team and SMEs.
• Capital Projects: lead electrical infrastructure design for capital projects.
• Technical Programs: drive programs of strategic importance.
• Technical Standards: maintain and improve electrical specs and standards.
• Operations Support: assist operations with technology upgrades.
