Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team and oversee electrical design activities for the Energy-from-Waste process across more than 30 facilities in North America.

You will provide design leadership for HV, MV, and LV systems, manage capital projects, mentor SMEs, and coordinate with cross-functional leaders to deliver technical and economic value.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of electrical engineering experience with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience with MV and HV systems (switchgear, transformers, relaying).
• Experience across the project execution lifecycle: concept, construction, commissioning, start-ups.

Responsibilities

• Manage, prioritize, and assign work across Electrical Engineering team and SMEs.
• Lead electrical infrastructure design for capital projects.
• Lead technical programs of strategic importance to the company.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards library.
• Provide engineering support to operations and upgrades.
• Engage and manage external engineering partners for sound designs.
• Lead FEL activities for capital projects and mentor SMEs.
