Reworld Waste in the United States is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team responsible for the Energy-from-Waste process across 30+ facilities in North America. This role requires strong leadership, strategic design oversight and collaboration across multiple sites to ensure safe, reliable and compliant electrical systems.

The position involves overseeing HV/MV/LV electrical infrastructure, driving capital projects, and maintaining design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Science (Electrical Engineering) from an accredited institution.
• 15–20 years in electrical engineering with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience with MV and HV systems, switchgear, transformers, and protective relaying.

Responsibilities

• Discipline/design engineering: manage, prioritize and assign work across the Electrical Engineering team and SMEs.
• Lead electrical infrastructure design for capital projects and FEED.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards library.
• Provide engineering support to operations and evaluate technology upgrades.
