Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team for Energy-from-Waste processes across 30+ facilities in North America. You will oversee HV, MV and LV systems, drive capital projects, and mentor SMEs while collaborating with site/regional teams and cross-functional leaders.

The role reports to the VP of Engineering and involves travel (~30%). A PE and experience in large industrial facilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of electrical engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership.
• Extensive MV/HV systems experience (switchgear, transformers, relays).
• Experience with capital projects and feasibility studies.
• Professional Engineer license and Six Sigma are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize work across the Electrical Engineering team and SMEs.
• Lead electrical infrastructure design for capital projects.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards library.
• Provide engineering support to operations and technology upgrades.
• Engage external engineering partners to deliver designs.
