Job summary

Reworld seeks a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team and oversee electrical design activities for energy-from-waste across 30+ facilities in North America. This role reports to the VP of Engineering and drives capital projects, technical programs, and design standards.

Requirements include 15–20 years in electrical engineering with 5+ years in leadership, experience with HV/MV/LV systems, and PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 15–20 years of electrical engineering experience with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience with MV/HV systems and electrical design for large facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Design Engineering team across 30+ North American facilities.
• Direct electrical infrastructure design for high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems.
• Manage capital projects, technical programs, and engineering standards.
• Mentor SMEs and coordinate with cross-functional leaders to meet discipline needs.
