Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the Electrical Design Engineering team across 30+ North American facilities. You will own electrical infrastructure design for HV, MV and LV systems, including breakers, transformers and MCCs, while driving capital projects and technical standards.

You will mentor SMEs, coordinate with cross-functional leaders, and guide feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments to balance technical and economic considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Science (Electrical Engineering) from an accredited institution.
• 15–20 years of experience in an electrical engineering role, including at least five years of leadership experience.
• Experience with HV, MV and LV systems and plant electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Design Engineering team and manage workloads across facilities.
• Oversee electrical infrastructure design for capital projects.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards/library.
