Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead a team delivering electrical design across 30+ North American facilities, spanning 26 kV to 230 kV. This role requires deep MV/HV expertise, strong leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional groups.

You will drive feasibility studies, manage capital projects, mentor SMEs, and ensure safety and reliability while travelling up to 30% to support sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 15-20 years in electrical engineering with at least five years of leadership.
• Experience with MV and HV systems and electrical design for industrial facilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design engineering for capital projects and programs.
• Mentor and develop SMEs, supporting FEL tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with operations, Sourcing, PMO, and other functions to meet discipline needs.
• Perform technical due diligence and feasibility studies balancing cost and technical considerations.
