Job summary

Clearway Energy Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Director, Construction to lead project execution, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management across wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. The role reports to the Senior Vice President, Construction and drives financial and operational performance.

The position requires 15+ years in construction, strong leadership, strategic planning, risk assessment, and strict adherence to client contracts and company policies across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience.
• Ability to lead, plan, and manage multiple projects with teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction management, scheduling, and cost control for projects.
• Develop execution plans, manage third-party contractors, and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate with design teams, procurement, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports, track budgets, and review invoices for approvals.
• Ensure work adheres to scope, budget, and contract requirements.
• Lead weekly/monthly project meetings and communicate progress to executives.
