Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Director of Construction in the Denver area to lead construction management, planning, scheduling, project execution, and cost control across wind, solar, and energy storage projects. You will supervise multiple teams, coordinate with design and procurement, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

Candidates should bring 15+ years of construction experience, a degree in Construction Management, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is required.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience are required.
• Experience supervising direct reports and delivering feedback.
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans for third-party construction and obtain approvals.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal resources to meet milestones.
• Manage construction budgets and track cost-to-complete across projects.
• Prepare weekly/monthly status reports for leadership.
• Inspect sites to ensure conformance with plans, budget and schedule.
• Approve invoices and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
