Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Director of Construction responsible for supervising construction management, planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure efficient project execution. The role reports to the Senior Vice President, Construction and requires extensive experience in wind, solar, or BESS energy projects across multiple sites.

The position offers a competitive salary of $190,000–$214,000 USD with annual bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience.
• Experience supervising direct reports.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel for financial analysis.
• Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop timelines and project deliverables with stakeholders.
• Identify pinch points to avoid delays.
• Coordinate expectations with vendors and internal resources.
• Secure internal resources to keep projects on schedule.
• Develop project execution plans for third-party construction.
• Collaborate with design teams on long-lead materials and substitutes.
• Review plans and specs for construction and expedite approvals.
