Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Director of Construction to oversee the construction function, including management, planning, scheduling, execution and cost control across wind, solar and storage projects. The role reports to the Senior Vice President, Construction and requires coordinating with design teams, vendors, and internal resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The position emphasizes leadership, rigorous project management, and timely reporting, with a hybrid work model

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience required.
• Experience with wind energy, PV solar and BESS projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction management activities, planning and scheduling, project execution and cost control.
• Develop and review project execution plans and manage 3rd party contractors.
• Coordinate with design teams, vendors and internal resources to meet schedules and budgets.
• Prepare status reports and keep leadership informed on project progress and risks.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, permits, and QA/QC requirements.
• Review invoices, manage budgets and track change orders.
