Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Director of Construction to supervise the construction function, including planning, scheduling, project execution, and cost management across wind and solar energy projects. The role reports to the Senior Vice President, Construction, and offers a bonus opportunity based on performance.

The successful candidate will manage timelines, budgets, and a team of contractors, coordinating with design teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-scope project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience.
• Experience with wind energy and/or PV solar & BESS projects.
• Ability to supervise and manage direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee budgeting and cost management for projects.
• Review plans and specifications for construction to expedite approvals.
• Manage 3rd party contractors and vendors to meet schedules.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly status reports to VP of Construction.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, permits, and insurance requirements.
