Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Director, Construction to lead complex wind, solar, and storage projects from inception through delivery. You will supervise teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with engineering, procurement and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget project execution.

The role requires 15+ years of construction experience, a construction management degree, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
15+ years of progressive construction experience.
Experience supervising and/or managing direct reports.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel for financial/analytical computations.

Responsibilities

Develops project execution plans for third-party construction and submittal approvals.
Manages budgets, cost reporting and contract compliance.
Coordinates with stakeholders, vendors and internal resources to meet milestones.
Prepares weekly and monthly status reports for leadership.
Inspects sites to ensure conformance with plans, budget and schedule.
Maintains project records and processes invoices in a timely manner.
Interfaces with AHJ and procurement to secure permits and screen vendors.
Leads project meetings and ensures timely completion of tasks.
