Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Director of Construction to lead and supervise the full construction lifecycle for wind and PV/storage projects. This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Construction, and focuses on cost control, schedules, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

The position requires extensive construction experience, including leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, and a strong track record of delivering complex energy projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience.
• Experience with wind energy and/or PV solar & BESS projects preferred.
• Strong stakeholder communication and leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for financial and analytical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction management, planning and scheduling, project execution, and cost management.
• Develop project execution plans and coordinate 3rd party contractors and vendors.
• Review plans and specifications for construction and expedite approvals.
• Manage budgets, track costs, and report project status to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, permits, and safety requirements.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly status reports and other required documents.
