Job summary

Clearway Energy Group seeks a Director, Construction in Houston, TX. Hybrid work arrangement with emphasis on leading construction management, planning, scheduling, and cost control across wind, solar, and storage projects.

You will supervise a team, coordinate with vendors and internal resources, review plans, approve budgets, and deliver projects on schedule and within cost targets. Strong leadership and communication with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field required.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience required.
• Experience with wind energy, PV solar and energy storage projects preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent efforts and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Experience supervising and developing direct reports; strong communication with all stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction management, planning and scheduling, project execution and cost management.
• Review, execute and approve construction projects in a cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate with vendors, internal resources and design teams.
• Develop and implement project execution plans and budgets for third-party construction.
• Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly status reports to leadership.
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget with proper documentation.
