Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States is seeking a Director for Merger Integrations and Carve-Outs within our MI&C team. You will lead large, complex engagements for private equity clients and their portfolio companies, delivering strategic integration solutions across finance, HR, supply chain and IT.

This role emphasizes Day 1/Day 100 planning, execution, and performance improvement, with extensive travel and leadership responsibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional consulting experience, specializing in merger integration, divestitures, business transformation, and change management.
• Experience in leading one or more work streams in a business transformation.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues and developing recommendations in the context of the engagement.
• Lead large, complex engagements and deliver creative business and technology solutions for PE clients and portfolio companies.
• Drive Day 1 and Day 100 planning, execution and performance improvement in key areas: strategic planning, operations, and supply chain.
• Oversee interim management and governance across the integration lifecycle.
• Travel up to 75% to support engagements across client sites.
